Problem
Hangtime Gear encountered a pressing challenge with their website's performance, primarily due to an excess of unused plugins, including PageFly and WebPages, as well as numerous third-party plugins used for marketing. This overabundance of plugins resulted in frustratingly slow loading times, which, in the world of online marketing, directly translates to lower conversion rates. As a developer passionate about delivering optimal user experiences, I embarked on a mission to address this issue.
To start, I carefully assessed the plugins in use and promptly removed any that were unnecessary or no longer serving their intended purpose. This decluttering process streamlined the website's codebase, paving the way for improved performance. Additionally, I conducted a comprehensive audit of the remaining plugins, fine-tuning their configurations and settings to ensure they operated at peak efficiency. Furthermore, I combed through the website's code, diligently identifying and eliminating any unused or redundant snippets.
