Fit Cover Website 1

I recently developed a custom Shopify website for an Australian cosmetics company specializing in water-resistant and fitness makeup. The website has a modern design, easy-to-navigate product pages, and a secure checkout process.

Overview

In 2021, I took on a Shopify project for a client with the goal of improving the speed of their website and adding new templates to meet their marketing needs. As part of the project, I was responsible for installing and maintaining various plugins on the website to enhance its functionality. Through my efforts, I was able to improve the website's performance and help the client achieve their goals.

Problem

Fitcover, a client I worked with, was facing several challenges with their Shopify store. One of the main issues was that they lacked a person who was able to handle and modify the theme they had purchased from ThemeForest. This meant that they were unable to fully customize the website to meet their marketing needs, and they were restricted by the limitations of the theme's sections.

Another issue was the store's page speed, which was a concern for Fitcover. While they had installed the PageFly app to try to address this issue, it was not sufficient or intelligent enough to meet their needs. This meant that the website was still struggling with slow loading times, which was frustrating for users and could potentially drive customers away.

To address these issues, I worked with Fitcover to modify their theme and improve the store's page speed. By doing so, we were able to create a more user-friendly and efficient website that better met the client's needs and helped them achieve their goals.

Solution

When I started working on this Shopify project, the client had a number of issues with their website that needed to be addressed. One of the main problems was the presence of unnecessary codes in the website's scripts, which were slowing down the page loading times.

To fix this issue, I began by deleting the unneeded codes and streamlining the website's scripts. This helped to improve the website's performance and make it more user-friendly.

Next, I worked on updating and refining the client's Shopify templates to make them more visually appealing and unique. I also created reusable sections to make it easier for the client to update and manage their website.

Additionally, the client needed to be able to accept subscription payments on their website. To help them with this, I installed the Boost upselling plugin, which allowed them to offer subscription packages to their customers and streamline the payment process.

Overall, these changes helped to improve the client's website and better meet their needs.
